Voidspire Tactics has 18 unlockable classes- 3 of which are available right at the start. Let’s take a look at the starting classes’ abilities.
Heavily armed warrior trained in melee combat.
Shove – Push an enemy while dealing damage with your melee weapon.
Charge – Dash forward to strike a distant foe with your melee weapon.
Smash – Attack recklessly for +40% extra damage, but with 2/3 accuracy.
Guard – Halve incoming physical damage for a few turns.
Brave – Increase Physical Attack +2 for a few turns.
Bide – Prepare a delayed, but extra strong attack that deals +30% damage.
Battlecry – Demoralize enemies with your fierce battlecry. Works best against enemies looking directly at you.
Agile explorer with a basic but versatile skillset.
Firestarter – Set an adjacent target on fire.
Swift – Deal half damage with +30% extra accuracy.
Trip Up – Trip an enemy with your weapon and inflict -2 Move for a turn.
Spot – Reduce an enemy’s Evasion and Physical Defense for a few turns.
Throw Stone – Chuck a stone at the enemy.
First Aid – Perform basic healing on someone adjacent.
Sidestep – Quickly move a few tiles instead of acting.
Apprentice to all forms of magic.
Study – Reveal a creature’s current elemental resistances & weaknesses.
Flame – Hurl a ball of fire at the target.
Bolt – Shoot a lightning bolt in a straight line.
Frost – Deal ice damage in a small area.
Gust – Channel the wind to push and deal minor wind damage in a cone.
Focus Energy – Charge a spot with energy to heal an ally or harm an enemy.
Prayer – Recover MP for yourself and allies in a small area around you.
When you gain XP as one of these classes, you can use that XP to learn the above abilities. Each ability can also be ranked up with XP for additional effects and/or increased potency.
